An education recruitment consultant’s role is demanding and diverse. It involves:

  • Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking in order to attract business from schools
  • Achieve daily/weekly activity targets that relate to the number of candidates placed
  • Build deep relationships with new clients (schools) as the face of the 4myschools business by visiting them in their premises to gain a thorough understanding of their needs
  • Visit your area schools’ websites and TES etc. to check for permanent posts advertised and send suitable candidates on a weekly basis
  • Developing a good understanding of schools in your given area, what they do differently, their culture and environment, this information is not in the public domain
  • Advertise vacancies appropriately by placing generic adverts found on SharePoint in a wide range of media
  • Attract candidates and build deep relationships as the face of the 4myschools business enabling you to match them to the positions being recruited for by using and non-using schools
  • Ensure that candidates understand the ‘why’ about 4myschools
  • You will be required to understand their strengths, weaknesses, foibles and individual characteristics which make them suitable for clients opposed to others

  • Candidate screening – complete pre-vet telephone interviews to ensure only the best candidates are invited to interview
