ARC Costs are a Bolton based digital Costs Draftsman/Lawyer services provider, who assist Solicitors in recovering their legal fees, and also in providing advocacy services at CCMCs and detailed assessment hearings.

We are recruiting for a business admin/ office support apprentice in our Bolton office, although part of the role can be on a remote-access/distance-role basis. The successful candidate will be required to:

Report directly to the Office Manager in respect of all delegated duties;
Be responsible for handling all initial telephone enquiries to the office for a number of businesses, and ensuring these are responded to in a time-efficient manner and managed effectively;
Providing assistance to staff with regards to the opening and closing of files, or general file administration;
Overseeing work and management deadlines, and ensuring these are adhered to/appropriate resources allocated to achieve these deadlines;
Ensuring Directors of the companies are assisted with any high-priority tasks;
Assisting with development/implementation of office procedures and ensuring adherence to the same;
Assisting the marketing team with regards to analysis of historic work, and providing Excel data on performance of work and suggesting potential amendments to articles.
Part of the role will be expected to be in the office for at least 2 days a week however, some of the role can be completed remotely/at home, and ARC Costs are happy to be flexible. Training will be provided and it is not expected that the successful candidate will have an in depth knowledge of all business processes from the outset however, we are looking for an individual with a strong work ethic and ambition to grow both the company and their own development.
