This is an ideal opportunity for those who possess a proven ability to deal with all aspects of front office duties. As a medical receptionist you’ll be expected to turn your hand to various jobs whilst maintaining a professional attitude at all times.

Basic duties:

  • Communicating over the telephone with patients and colleagues
  • Dealing with confidential information
  • Work on reception area, meet and greet patients and visitors
  • Use excellent customers service continuously
  • Organise and report data
  • Managing in house computer systems
  • Use a diary system
  • Sending and Receiving Emails
  • Postal and Stationery Duties
  • Filing and maintaining internal documents
  • Store and retrieve information
  • Scanning documents
  • Assist in the organisation of conferences and fund raising events
  • Research potential members and sponsors

Desired skills

  • Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, liaising colleagues and other departments within Savills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Desired qualifications

  • A*-C / 9-4 in maths and English are desirable, however not essential

Future prospects

  • Full time employment once apprenticeship is complete

Training to be provided

  • Customer Service Pactitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard
  • In house training to be provided by the employer
  • Functional skills in maths and English to be provided by the training provider 

Working week

Monday – Friday 8am – 4pm or 10pm – 6pm
Total hours per week: 40.00
