Our client is looking for a Recruitment Apprentice to join their friendly and professional team.

Stellamar are an Employment Solutions business offering the full solution through their Recruitment and HR consultancy teams. This role will be working within the recruitment side of the business.

We work totally remotely, with access to a club working space in central Southampton.  The club working space is a 5 minutes’ walk from all the major bus routes and a 15 minutes’ walk from the station.  We offer 50% of parking in the back of the walls carpark on days when people use the club working space.   At other times we will set employees up from working at home. Our club working space is great – it’s a bit like a spa without the treatments.  Music, bar, plenty of desk spaces, meeting rooms and shared areas for meetings. 

We share our space with other small/medium growing businesses therefore there is always a buzz around the place.  Stellamariners (what we call our team members) have the autonomy to choose when they work, therefore we can’t always guarantee that there will be other team members around, however there will always be people around. We have lots of events, meet ups and check ins in person, on video and have a group WhatsApp 24/7

We are currently in a period of sustained growth and are looking for a recruitment apprentice to join our team! The successful individual will have the opportunity to progress and grow within a well-respected company with the position available at the end of the apprenticeship for the right candidate.

As a Recruitment Resourcer, you will be responsible for a variety of things, including but not limited to:

  • Managing candidate enquiries / applications and reviewing their CV’s
  • Distributing suitable CV’s to Recruitment Consultants
  • Undertaking the administrative duties for the business, including updating the CRM system for candidate meetings
  • Maintaining the company database, to ensure candidate information is up to date
  • Managing the job-advertising for active vacancies
  • Answering telephone calls
  • Undertaking headhunting activities for key vacancies and undertake your own personal recruitment

We work flexibly, Monday to Friday.  We don’t have set start and finish times, but 8:30am to 5pm is a rough guide to our office hours, allowing breaks as needed. The hourly wage is set at £6, which would be £225 for a 37.5-hour week.

The successful apprentice will be working towards a nationally recognised Level 2 Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship Standard. There will be the opportunity to move onto the level 3 upon completion and there is an excellent opportunity to gain a full-time role if the apprentice is willing to work hard for their achievements.
